Treat Card Hiccup Explained

Dear Clients,

If you’re a regular client and user of our app (download app here: http://onelink.to/lashspa), you may have noticed your treat card points balance changing a few times over the last few weeks. We’ve had a glitch with the system where it was quadrupling the amount of points some clients were earning at checkout – resulting in many complimentary services being over-redeemed. (Ahhh – stressful!)

We understand it is of no fault of our clients for redeeming points that they had in their account. However, our software team have now restored the points to their correct balances. If you have a negative point balance showing up in your account it is because of this error.

A little bonus for you – If you have ever forgotten your treat card in the past up until now, we have asked the software team to credit those points to your account too. So you will have accurate points for every dollar you’ve spent in salon 🙂

Going forward – you must bring your card to redeem points.

Like most loyalty programs (e.g your 10 stamp coffee loyalty card) we are only applying points to your account when the card is presented at check out and will no longer be back-paying them if you forget – so please keep this in mind! Back-paying points has caused a lot of additional work behind the scenes for our staff and is just not maintainable for our team.

How our point system works:

  • One treat point for every dollar spent
  • 250 points for every friend referred (previously 500 points but we have halved the amount of points to redeem a service now)
  • Spending points = every 10th service free or you can spend the points on brows, products, boost etc before you reach 10 visits.

With the error, some clients were redeeming a full free appointment every third visit – as a small family-run business we have had to adjust the point balance to their true balances. We hope you can understand and apologise for any inconvenience. 

Our treat card point system is something we have implemented to further treat our beautiful clients and is a little thank you for trusting us with your lashes. Please don’t be upset with us over this error and remember we brought this system in place out of kindness. Thank you!
