I honestly never thought I had long lashes. I’ve always looked in the mirror and just saw these short little straight ones that mascara never really helped. I did get a lash lift once at a well known salon in Burleigh, but honestly it didn’t do much at all so I kind of gave up.
The other week I was googling Korean lash lift because I’d heard the results were amazing, and The Lash Spa popped up. I decided to give it a go and oh my gosh I am so glad I did.
From the second I walked in I felt relaxed. They do this check-in on an iPad where you can choose if you want to nap or chat during your appointment. I’d never seen that before and as someone with social anxiety it actually made me feel so much better knowing I wouldn’t have to force conversation if I didn’t want to. That alone was such a thoughtful detail.
The treatment room was beautiful. The bed was heated with a soft doona and the spa music playing reminded me of being at Endota - really calming and like a proper day spa, not just a beauty salon. About halfway through I was given a hand massage which honestly felt so heavenly I nearly cried haha. It was such a surprise and made me feel completely looked after.
And the results… I was shocked. For the first time I could actually see my natural lashes and they looked so long, dark and curled. The tint made them pop even more. I couldn’t believe they were my own lashes. I actually sat in the car after and kept looking at them in the mirror because the transformation was that dramatic for me.
I can’t believe I spent years thinking I didn’t have lashes when I really just needed the right treatment. The Korean lash lift at The Lash Spa is honestly next level.

I honestly dont even no where to start with The Lash Spa. I came in on a cold rainy day and the moment I steped inside it felt like I’d been transported into another world. Warm, cosy and just instantly calming. The whole salon smells like vanilla carmel (like walking into a bakery) and it honestly makes you want to never leave.
The receptionist greeted me so warmly and friendly. I had come a bit early and to my suprise she offered me a complimentary foot spa while I waited. I wasnt expecting that at all but before I knew it I was soaking my feet in warm water with flower petals floating around. Such a beautiful touch. Then came a lychee popping mocktail with a bubble on top that bursts when you drink it. Like… what?! I thought I was just here for Gold Coast lash extensions but this felt like a luxury day spa. Then a tray of cookies was brought over and I’m sitting there thinking… is this place even real??
My lash artist was running 5 mins late but they actually called me earlier to let me knw. That little call meant so much because it showed they respected my time. Honestly I didnt mind waiting because I was already so relaxed.
This was my first time getting eyelash extensions and I was nervous. my therapist (sorry I forgot her name, she was blonde) was bubbly, kind and explained everything. She told me what she was doing at each step and I felt safe. I never thought I’d fall asleep during a beauty treatment but the bed was heated with a doona and I drifted right off.
When I opened my eyes at the end I was shocked. My lashes looked SO gorgeous I nearly cried. They were natural but glam at the same time. Honestly I felt like they didnt even charge enough for the results and experence.
Every single detail was thought of. The smell, the mocktail, the warm blanket, the cookies, the way the therapist talked me through it. It honestly felt like the best lash spa experience I could ever imagine. I’ve been to other beauty salons on the Gold Coast but nothing even comes close.
I’ll be recomending The Lash Spa to all my friends and anyone who asks me where to go for lash extensions. I’ve already showed off my lashes to half the people I know. I even snuck some photos while I was there (not sure if that’s allowed lol) attached to this because I wanted to show my mum and sisters.
If you’re looking for the best lash spa on the Gold Coast then don’t even think twice. Book here. You won’t regret it. This place is an absolute gem.

I loved the level of service I received from Jemma. She was welcoming, friendly, and offered good recommendations when choosing my lashes. I absolutely love them! I would recommend Jemma to my friends and anyone else looking for a new technician.

It really hits every sense, the smell is so beautiful from the lovely candles, the music instantly relaxes you, the tea and chocolate make your taste buds dance and you leave looking fabulous. The lashes always look natural, the staff are so professional. I always feel like I am at a 5 star day spa and the best part it is you pay the same price as everywhere else but without all the extras! I won't be going anywhere else X

Such a relaxing and professional atmosphere. Mel did such an amazing job on my lashes, She really took the time to find out what I wanted and gave me lots of great advice on how to keep my lashes looking great. Can’t recommend enough!

I've seen Melissa 4 times, and have left 100% happy each time. The room is truly like a spa; you even get a chocolate and an iced tea on arrival. Melissa explains the process of removal and addition of lashes, her progress and gives advice on how to keep the lashes in good condition. And you get biscuits and a gift bag when you leave!

I had an early booking with Melissa and she’s so accommodating about it. Melissa is very professional about lashes and applied my set of full volume lash within an hour. The lashes feels so soft and light, unlike those heavy volume lashes that I had before. Also receive a bag full of complimentary gift as a take away. Thank you Melissa I’ll definitely come back again!
