What are vegan eyelash extensions?
Vegan eyelash extensions are made from a PBT synthetic fibre. They are the cruelty-free alternative to mink eyelashes. Did you know that salons who offer real mink fur lashes are supporting the exploitation of animals? It breaks our hearts!
As a former vegetarian (8 years) and animal lover myself, I wouldn’t feel right if we stocked real mink fur. No matter how profitable mink lashes are – it’s just not worth it.
Our PBT fibre is soft and silky, it feels exactly like real fur but without the cruelty. We also have the same synthetic material lashes in silk so you can choose whether you’d prefer mink or silk at your appointment.
You may also be worried about other products used at The Lash Spa. Our glue is completely cruelty-free too with no animal products or byproducts.
If you’re an eco-warrior, you’ll be pleased to know that we recycle as much as we can too. We even recycle plastic lash trays by turning them into take-home mascara wand containers 🙂
