Should I get Eyelash Extensions for My Honeymoon?
Lash extensions are undoubtedly super convenient, look gorgeous and can make you feel a million bucks. This is why they are the perfect option for a future bride wanting to simplify her wedding day routine or even for the honeymoon. Firstly, they’re a fantastic option because lash extensions can last up to 3 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle and how well you treat them. Mascara? Never heard of her.
Lash extensions are semi-permanent and waterproof (after the initial 24-48 hours of course) meaning you can spend time in a pool on your vacation, without experiencing the dreaded panda eyes… Your daily routine will be as easy as waking up and heading out the door because extensions truly aid in framing the face and emphasising your best features.
Do I need a full set of eyelash extensions if it has been six weeks and I have a couple left? (Anything over 4 weeks is a full set)
The average person has between 90-120 natural lashes PER eye. On a daily basis, we naturally shed approximately 2-5 lashes per day (with/without extensions.
• Week 1 – 21 lashes lost
• Week 2 – 42 lashes lost
• Week 3 – 63 lost
Please note that this is an estimate and also depends on your natural growth cycle and aftercare etc so your lash loss could be more or less. This is why we recommend receiving infills every 2-3 weeks to maintain the evenness and thickness of your extensions. An infill will only be considered if our clients still have at least 50% of their extensions. Anything less will be considered a full set as we only allow 30ish minutes per infill. Therefore, at the six-week point, majority of the extensions would have shed and will require a full set.
